At the foot of the Andes Mountains, Ushuaia is characterized by its mountainous landscapes that descend to the coasts of the Onachaga Channel, also known as the Beagle Channel.
Activities include navigations to the "Lighthouse at the End of the World", with the possibility of seeing sea lions, whales, penguins, depending on the time of year, and numerous species of birds, such as cormorants, petrels, southern pigeons, condors, among others.
Ushuaia has a great variety of treks through subantarctic forests, extensive valleys, peat bogs, glacial landscapes, lagoons of all colors and the impressive Ochanaga Canal.
The destination has a National Park with a wide variety of trails accessible to the public. Likewise, there are various viewpoints located at strategic points such as the Garibaldi Pass, with views of Lake Escondido and Lake Khami, also known as "Lake Fagnano".
History is also a tourist attraction of our city, we have various museums, among which "El Museo del Presidio" stands out, the former prison of Tierra del Fuego, which gave rise to the city and which tells how difficult it was to survive. at the End of the World back then.
In winter the tourist attractions increase, offering experiences such as snowshoeing, dog sledding, coolie skating, snowmobiling, wonderful cross-country ski trails, and one of the best alpine ski centers in the southern hemisphere.
Without a doubt, Ushuaia invites travelers to want to return and visit the destination during all seasons of the year, to enjoy new experiences, different landscapes, and an increasingly attractive range of activities.
